Joints can be manufactured in stainless steel and exotic alloy materials, or composite fabric materials for lower pressure applications where lower forces and larger movement capacity might be required. We also have the capacity to manufacture expansion joints to suit circular, square, rectangular and transitional ‘square-to-round’ profiles.
Given such significant changes in temperature and thus appreciable thermal expansion, a common theme in many exhaust systems and flues is the requirement for expansion joints to provide maximum flexibility and movement capacity to keep the number of expansion joints to a practical minimum. CREON UK will always endeavour to work closely with our customers to provide the most cost-effective design solution possible. In situations where we are asked to provide a replacement or refurbished item, we will do everything that we practically can to provide an expansion joint with forces, spring rates, movement capacity and other mechanical characteristics to that of the original equipment.
